Wow. That's pretty bad that you removed my previous comment. Instead of thanking me for advice that could potentially make your book a REAL success, you decide to delete it and pretend you never read it. That, my friend, is called cowardice.
A TRUE author has to expect to deal with negative reviews and constructive criticism. That's called reality. We don't live in your little fantasy world where everything's all hunky-dory all the time. The only way we can hope to grow is to accept the criticism and LISTEN to what others are telling us.
Funny how you'll gladly accept the kind praise, but as soon as someone wants to be HONEST with you, you can't handle it in a mature fashion and you delete it. Oh yeah, that's a real good lesson for kids: if you don't like what someone says about you, throw a hissy fit and refuse to handle it sensibly.
Adults would be reading your books too if you would just take my advice. I've noticed that the only adults that are reading them now are parents and grandparents reading them to children, which does not count. So of course THEY like your book, because they are only seeing it as a KID'S book to entertain their little ones. They don't REALLY like it themselves.
“Few are wise enough to prefer truthful criticism to untruthful praise.” ~ B.H. Tyler

Met you and your husband yesterday with, my brother and sister-in-law, George and Pam. Am anxious to get the set of books as we discussed. I also told our daughter in Avon, IN, about you and she is going to check with the school about a possible visit later this year. Our daughter is a bus driver in Avon school district and she also helps out with the book fairs. When I told her your name she said she knew who I was talking about. Anyway, hope you can work something out. You are doing a wonderful thing.
